DHS Launches the "Game On" Fundraising Campaign

Dunwoody, GA (October 27, 2016) – The DHS Community Association is partnering with Dunwoody High School to officially launch the GAME ON! Capital Campaign to raise funds for dramatically improving and enhancing athletic facilities at Dunwoody High School.  The launch comes on the heels of a recently completed professional feasibility study that confirmed both the capacity and intent among potential donors to support the campaign.  The goal of the GAME ON! campaign is to raise $2 million to cover the cost of adding a multi-sport artificial turf field with a re-surfaced track, outdoor lighting for the softball and multi-sport field, spectator seating, a field house with restrooms, concessions, locker rooms, weight room, etc., along with a maintenance fund to help maintain the facilities.  The capital campaign is expected to run over the next three years.  Learn more...

All Fore One Golf Tournament Raised $20,000! 

Organizers from the All Fore One golf tournament committee presented a $20,000 check to parents and Dunwoody High School staff representing the Game On committee.  All Fore One is a unique committee comprised of volunteers from the DHS feeder schools.  The Game On committee endeavors to make substantial improvements to the DHS campus and athletic facilities.

The All Fore One committee formed in the winter of 2017 with the objective of hosting a community golf tournament.  After thoughtful deliberation, the committee agreed to donate proceeds from the inaugural event to the Game On committee.  Currently, Game On is in the midst of a 100-day campaign to secure an additional $400,000 in donated funds.

The inaugural All Fore One tournament took place on October 2 at Dunwoody Country Club. Nearly 100 golfers participated, including 8 members of the Dunwoody police department and 4 local firefighters.  Also in attendance were area principals, business owners and residents.

The second annual All Fore One golf tournament is scheduled for October 1, 2018 at Dunwoody Country Club.  Information about the tournament and sponsorship opportunities can be viewed online at www.allforeonedunwoody.org.
