How do I get the Remind app?
Many of our PCMS teachers use Remind to keep in touch with their students and parents. Remind is available as a smart phone app and on the Remind.com website. You can use it either way or both ways.
Parents are encouraged to download the Remind app to their phone or tablet, and/or to create a log-in on the Remind.com website. Once in the application, search for Peachtree Middle School and also for Peachtree Charter Middle School. Then search for your child's teachers to find which teachers are using Remind. From there you can select the option to receive teacher text and/or email messages.
If your student's teacher sends home an activation code, or publishes one on their web site, then you do not have to open the Remind app or log in to the Remind website to set up text communications with that teacher. Just text the teacher's code to 81010 and you are all set. For example, if a teacher's code is @math, then to receive text notifications from that teacher, you would text @math to 81010.
Be Sure to Signup for Dr. Davis's Emergency REMIND Notifications
Our principal, Dr. Davis, uses Remind to text parents in emergency situations, such as when we experience extreme weather conditions. To receive Dr. Davis's emergency notifications, text @drdavis1 to 81010.
